Feast your eyes on Floradora

March 21, 2010

I recently discovered Floradora, a garden blog from the San Francisco Bay Area, and I am hooked on its crisp, beautifully shot photographs. The author is a garden designer/horticulturalist with a keen eye for beauty in leaf, stem, and flower, who also features her family’s hiking trips in the California countryside.
Check out Floradora when you need a fix of California gorgeousness, whether it be wild plants at Rock City on Mt. Diablo or cultivated beds in the author’s own stunning garden, currently starring a mix of blooming aloes and camellias and colorful, luscious foliage.

Oh my gosh Pam! I just came over to post my Foliage Follow Up and am so surprised and flattered! How kind of you to say such nice things. I’ve really been enjoying thinking up things to photograph and write about. And I’ve loved meeting new gardeners out there! Thank you!
