Dallas sunrise

February 14, 2008

I drove up to Dallas yesterday for a landscape design class at the Dallas Arboretum. Just outside of the city, I stopped to take a few pictures of the sun rising big and orange over frosty fields and misty ponds.

Mother Nature’s designs often can’t be beat.

Beautiful sunrise! How was the class? Sounds like a ton of fun. We’ll look forward to you sharing tips and tricks as you implement them in your gardens this Spring.
I enjoyed the class. It was a looong way to drive for a class, and I’m not sure I’d do it again, but once I was there I had a good time and learned a few things. Plus I had the opportunity to see the Arboretum, which I’d somehow missed all these years. —Pam

Gorgeous sunrise. If that doesn’t get your heart pumping I don’t know what would.

What gorgeous photos. One of the perks for getting up early.

Even the sunrises seem bigger in Texas!
