Lawn Gone! is officially available!

February 12, 2013

I woke up feeling a bit like a child on her birthday. But the birthday I’m excited about belongs to my book. Today, after 3 years of planning, researching, writing, and editing, Lawn Gone! is born officially released. Whoo-hoo! If you ordered it online, it should be delivered to you soon. And if you’re in Austin and want to buy it locally, I just happened to swing by Barnes & Noble at the Arboretum on the way home from a client visit this morning and saw it on the nonfiction new-arrivals table, just inside the door, as well as in the gardening section. I hear there are also copies available at the Sunset Valley B&N as well.

One more thing…

Austin-area readers, I invite you to join me at The Natural Gardener this Saturday, February 16th, at 10 am under the big, white tent. I’ll be talking about lawn alternatives for our region and signing copies of my book afterward on the deck behind the gift shop, near the compost tea shed. (The Natural Gardener requires that copies for signing be purchased at their store.) I hope to see many of you there! Remember to bundle up if the weather’s chilly, as the talk will be outdoors.

Awesome news, it’s finally real and I can’t wait to see it. Good to have the book signing rules clarified because I had planned to ask about that since it is a standard at most places.

Congratulations! Amazon delivered my copy yesterday. I’m starting a no lawn garden from bare dirt and all the options have my head spinning. I was lying awake at 3 am last night redesigning our fire pit area thanks to a picture in your book:) The plant recommendations in the back are also really helpful. I hope you have tons of sales!
