Here’s a toast to all those inspiring posts filled with wonderful photography, and here’s another toast to you for turning garden bloggers into a community, starting with our first meeting in Austin just a few months after your blog began, and then expanding the in-person garden blogger family with that 1st Spring Fling. Thank you.

So many wonderfully sweet and supportive comments! Thank you all for the good wishes, and for being here! Five years isn’t as long as the real garden-blogging pioneers have been doing it (Kathy at Cold Climate Gardening and MSS at Zanthan Gardens come to mind), but it does feel like a significant stretch of time in the blogosphere.
Annie in Austin, meeting you and the other Austin garden bloggers is what brought blogging to life for me. Denise and Loree, I can’t wait to meet you both at the Seattle Fling!! —Pam
