Jenny Stocker’s garden is in Southern Living!

March 22, 2012

My friend Jenny Stocker’s garden has inspired me since before I knew her, when I first visited during a crowded garden tour. I’m so glad to have talked her into starting a garden blog because now I get to see her beautiful pictures of her inspirational garden whenever I want! You can too by visiting Rock Rose, Jenny’s blog, or, if you live in the South, by picking up a copy of the April 2012 issue of Southern Living magazine, which is appearing on newsstands now. Go get a copy. It’s a keeper. At the end of the article you’ll find a quote by yours truly, in which I rave about Jenny’s garden design. Hey, if you’ve seen it, I bet you’ve raved too.

Congratulations, Jenny!

Congrats to Jenny. Her garden was the second garden I toured in Austin when I was there for the first garden bloggers’ fling. Great garden, great memories, and Jenny is a great gardener, too.

  10. Extra special since I’ve been honored to see it w/ the owners, and Abq has more availability of Southern Living than it does Phx Home and Garden! The pics you show are nice and I look fwd to their perspective. I can’t wait to see your links, too.

Got my copy today and it was such fun to look at Jenny’s garden. But they didn’t show enough pictures! I’ve been reading her blog for quite a while now and possibly got there because of your blog – who can remember how and when about blogs. One often leads to ten others, I find.

Thanks for the preview, Pam. Jenny has such a gorgeous garden. The most amazing things to me in this garden, to be honest, are the native limestone rocks that David hauled up the hill to the garden on his own, one by one.

  13. Wow…love the photo with the pool/pond in the foreground and house to the back! Beautiful! I need to try and track down a copy of Southern Living…could be hard up in the PNW. Congrats Jenny and thanks Pam.

That first wide-angle photo is something bloggers rarely do and only the pros seem to manage. Really shows the genius of what Jenny has created.
