Have you named your fish?

We have only one goldfish left and she's quite large. Wanda is the only one of our original 9 fish to escape the fisherman, Harold, our local Great Blue Heron.

Ah, yes. That kind of soreness is a special kind of spring fever, and I'm feeling it myself after a day of weeding, planting, and weeding. Can't wait to see the patio!

Can't wait to see the sun shining. I bet your fish are wondering what is going on. Do you feed them at a certain time? Do they know your voice now and come to see if you have treats for them?

I'm afraid I do nothing much for them, especially in winter. They forage for food in the tank---mosquito larvae, algae, plant bits---and do quite nicely on their own. In summer I give them a fishy food treat now and then. But basically I treat them like wild birds, not pets. ---Pam
