Beautiful photo Pam. I enjoyed reading your description of the composition as much as the photo. I haven’t grown alliums before, but added a few bulbs this fall. I’m looking forward to the blooms and seed heads as well.

Great shot! I’ve kept some allium myself (is this “Star of Persia”?) for the attractive shape, even when dry.
